Scope

This standard specifies the marking, materials, types, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, and other requirements for twisted ropes made of polyethylene and conductive metal wires. This standard applies to twisted ropes made from polyethylene monofilament and conductive metal wires (stainless steel wires with specifications of 0.15 mm to 0.5 mm, and tinned round copper wires with specifications of 0.2 mm to 0.3 mm) with a line density of 2.1 ktex to 37.4 ktex and a line rope code of 8 or lower.
