Scope

This document describes a method of using ISO 16100 and ISO 18435 to specify the information exchange requirements between applications. This method is based on the Application Interaction Matrix Elements (AIME)/Application Domain Matrix Elements (ADME) templates of ISO 18435 and the Manufacturing Software Unit (MSU) capability model of ISO 16100.
This document also provides an example of a method for describing the interoperability requirements of integrated smart pump applications, including pump control applications and pump diagnostic applications.
