Scope

This part of GB/T 19902 describes the methods and rules for matching existing MSU capability specifications and required capability specifications derived from multiple capability class structures. These methods and rules can be used to evaluate the interoperability of MSUs in manufacturing applications and, in some cases, their interchangeability.
The following are not within the scope of this part of GB/T 19902:
——Services for creating, registering, and accessing various templates of reference manufacturing domain models, manufacturing domain data, and capability class structures;
——Consistency test tables for Type 1 services defined and specified in GB/T 19902.3;
——Other services required to manage these templates in a database or equivalent object repository.
