Scope

This document specifies the general requirements for traction rod connectors and the matching traction rod hooks, the determination of Dc and V values, dynamic tests, static tests, and strength requirements.
This document applies to the strength tests of traction rod hooks that meet the requirements of ISO 1102 and ISO 8755 and are used on center-axle trailers with a maximum design total mass exceeding 3,500 kg, as well as the matching traction rod connectors that meet the requirements of ISO 3584.
