Scope

This part of GB/T 6075 specifies the general conditions and methods for measuring and evaluating machine vibration on non-rotating or non-reciprocating components of the whole machine. The evaluation criteria, expressed in terms of vibration magnitude and vibration change, are related to operation monitoring and acceptance testing. The evaluation criteria are proposed first considering the safe and reliable long-term operation of the machine, and also considering minimizing the harmful effects on related equipment. This part also specifies operational limits.
The evaluation criteria in this part only relate to the vibration generated by the machine itself, and not to the vibration transmitted to it from external sources.
This part does not consider torsional vibration.
