GB/T 9536.1-2024 Electromechanical switches for use in electrical and electronic equipment—Part 1:Generic specification

Scope

This document specifies the terminology, symbols, test methods, and other necessary information to maintain the consistency of the detailed specifications for electromechanical switches.
This document applies to electromechanical switches used in electrical and electronic equipment.
The switches covered by this document:
a) Devices that disconnect, connect, or switch electrical connections by means of the mechanical movement of conductive components (contacts);
b) With a maximum rated voltage of 480 V;
c) With a maximum rated current of 63 A.
This document does not apply to keyboards and auxiliary keyboards used for information processing systems. This document applies to electromechanical keyboard switches.
The series of switches will be described in the detailed specifications corresponding to this document.
This document is a performance standard, designed to describe evaluation methods to better clarify the functionality of switches.
