Scope

1.0.1 In order to improve the technical level of repairing housing leaks and ensure the quality of the repairs, these regulations are formulated. 1.0.2 These regulations are applicable to the repair of leaks in existing buildings, including roofs, external walls, bathrooms, kitchens, and basements. 1.0.3 The repair of housing leaks should follow the principles of adaptation to local conditions, combination of prevention and drainage, rational selection of materials, and comprehensive treatment, and should be safe, reliable, technologically advanced, economically reasonable, and environmentally friendly. 1.0.4 In addition to complying with these regulations, the repair of housing leaks shall also comply with the provisions of the relevant national standards currently in force.
