Scope

This part of GB/T 4333 specifies the determination of aluminum content in ferrosilicon by the chromium green S spectrophotometry, EDTA titration, and flame atomic absorption spectrometry methods. This part is applicable to the determination of aluminum content in ferrosilicon. The determination range (mass fraction) of the chromium green S spectrophotometry method is 0.10%~0.60%; the determination range (mass fraction) of the EDTA titration method is 0.60%~5.00%; and the determination range (mass fraction) of the flame atomic absorption spectrometry method is 0.05%~5.00%.
