Scope
This standard proposes models and parameters for estimating the public dose based on emergency radiation monitoring data (or corresponding data derived from smoke plume dispersion models) at different stages of nuclear accident emergencies.
This standard is applicable to the estimation and evaluation of radiation doses received by the public in nuclear accident emergencies. It can also be referenced for the estimation and evaluation of radiation doses received by the public during the normal operation of nuclear facilities.
