Scope

This part of GB 18281 specifies the requirements and test methods for test microorganisms, suspensions, contaminated carriers, and biological indicators in the wet heat sterilization process when evaluating the use of wet heat as a sterilization medium.
The biological indicators specified in this part are applicable to the wet heat sterilization process using dry saturated steam, but not to the wet heat sterilization process using air-mixed steam.
