Scope

This standard applies to the thermal environment design in the detailed planning stage of urban residential areas. In accordance with the requirements of the former Ministry of Construction's "Notice on Issuing the '2007 Engineering Construction Standards and Norms Development and Amendment Plan'" (Jianbiao [2007] No. 125), the standard preparation group conducted extensive investigations and studies, carefully summarized practical experience, referred to relevant international standards and advanced foreign standards, and, on the basis of widely soliciting opinions, compiled this standard.
