Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, product manuals, markings, packaging, transportation, and storage of leakage alarm devices for gas-powered vehicles (hereinafter referred to as "alarm devices"). This standard applies to point-type gas concentration testing principle gas fuel (NG, PG) leakage alarm devices installed and used in single-fuel, dual-fuel, and mixed-power vehicles, as well as hybrid vehicles powered by oil-gas and gas-electricity. Other types of gas fuel leakage alarm devices can be implemented with reference to this standard.
