Scope

1.0.1 In order to promote the coordinated development of land use and transportation systems and regulate the traffic impact assessment of construction projects in cities and towns, this standard is formulated. 1.0.2 This standard applies to the traffic impact assessment of construction projects in cities and towns with a population scale of more than 100,000 people. 1.0.3 The traffic impact assessment of construction projects must be based on the overall planning and detailed planning of cities and towns. 1.0.4 The traffic impact assessment of construction projects shall follow the principles of intensive and economical land use and people-oriented development, and shall properly handle the relationship between the newly generated traffic and the background traffic of the evaluated projects. 1.0.5 In addition to complying with this standard, the traffic impact assessment of construction projects shall also comply with the provisions of the relevant national standards currently in force.
