Scope

This standard specifies the test methods for determining the total thickness and the thickness of each layer of fabric-core conveyor belts. The layers include the cover layer, the belt core layer, and the interlayer, which is the material located between adjacent layers. This standard applies to fabric-core conveyor belts. This standard does not apply to light conveyor belts specified in ISO 211831.
