Scope

This standard specifies the ordering content, classification and designations, dimensions, shapes, weights, and allowable deviations, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates of cold-worked stainless steel bars (including round bars, square bars, hexagonal bars, and flat bars, hereinafter referred to as steel bars).
This standard applies to cold-rolled or cold-drawn round bars, square bars, hexagonal bars, flat bars, and bright-silver round bars (stripped, polished, and buffed) with dimensions (diameter, side length, distance between opposite sides, or width, hereinafter referred to as dimensions) not exceeding 100 mm.
