Scope
This standard specifies the terms, requirements, test methods, labels, user manuals, packaging, transportation, and storage for ischemia-modified albumin assay reagents (kits) (albumin cobalt binding method).
This standard applies to reagents (kits) used for quantitative detection of ischemia-modified albumin (IMA) in human serum using the albumin-cobalt binding method, based on the principle of spectrophotometry, including manual reagents and reagents used on semi-automatic and fully automatic biochemical analyzers.
