GB/T 29120-2012 Procedure for H-point and R-point determination
Basic Information
Scope
This standard specifies the determination procedure for the H point and R point.
Chapter 4 specifies the HPM used to determine the actual H point and torso angle of the seat, as well as the procedure for placing the HPM when measuring the actual H point and torso angle of the seat, applicable to motor vehicles with the following characteristics:
a) The vertical distance between the driver's heel point and the seating reference point is less than 550 mm;
b) The torso back angle is greater than 5° or the angle between the thigh centerline represented by the thigh rod and the horizontal line is greater than 5°.
Chapter 5 specifies the procedure and technical requirements for using the HPM-II to check (verify) the key reference points and dimensions of the vehicle. The HPM-II stipulates a reliable method for measuring the occupant's seating space and/or the seat.
