Scope

This document specifies the general requirements, calibration parameter requirements, calibration conditions, calibration items and calibration methods, calibration results, and calibration intervals for power frequency magnetic field measuring instruments.
This document is applicable to the calibration of magnetic field measuring instruments newly manufactured, in use, and repaired, which are rated for a frequency of 50 Hz and used to measure magnetic induction intensity.
Note: The calibration method for power frequency electric field measuring instruments used to measure power frequency electric field intensity is described in Appendix A.
