Scope

This part of GB/T 32538 specifies the dimensional requirements for agricultural semi-trailers and implements to be connected to the rear of traction vehicles equipped with traction hooks as specified in ISO 6489-1 or with ISO 64894 wedge-type coupling devices, through coupling rings with a 50 mm aperture and 30 mm ring diameter, in order to ensure the interchangeability of the mechanical coupling devices of the towed vehicles.
This part applies to coupling rings whose connection points are located below the centerline of the tractor's rear axle and power take-off shaft.
Note: Other standards will be developed for coupling rings connected above the power take-off shaft.
