Scope

This standard specifies a method for simultaneously determining the content of phosphatidylcholine, phosphatidylethanolamine, and phosphatidylinositol in soybean phospholipids using high-performance liquid chromatography. This standard is applicable to the determination of phosphatidylcholine, phosphatidylethanolamine, and phosphatidylinositol in oil-containing soybean phospholipids and deoiled soybean phospholipids. This standard is not applicable to the determination of soybean hemophosphatidylcholine and soybean hemophosphatidylethanolamine.
