Scope

This standard specifies a high-performance liquid chromatography method for the determination of alkylphenols and bisphenol A in water. This standard is applicable to the determination of 9 alkylphenols, including 4-tert-butylphenol, 4-butylphenol, 4-pentylphenol, 4-hexylphenol, 4-heptylphenol, 4-octylphenol, 4-branched nonylphenol, 4-tert-octylphenol, and 4-nonylphenol, as well as bisphenol A in surface water, groundwater, domestic wastewater, and industrial wastewater. When the sampling volume is 200 ml, the sample's dilution volume is 1.0 ml, and the injection volume is 30 μl, the method's detection limit is 0.04 μg/L to 0.06 μg/L, and the determination limit is 0.16 μg/L to 0.24 μg/L.
