Scope
This part of GB/T 3246 specifies the test solutions and sample preparation for low-magnification microstructure examination of aluminum and aluminum alloy ingots (or billets), deformed aluminum and aluminum alloy plates, strips, foils, tubes, rods, profiles, wires, and forgings (hereinafter referred to as processed products), as well as the microstructure examination, defect classification, and test reports.
