Scope
This part of GB/T 7673 specifies the technical requirements for paper-insulated multi-strand twisted wires (referred to as twisted wires). The core of the twisted wires is an electrical soft copper twisted wire that meets the requirements of GB/T 12970. The insulation layer is made of three or more layers of insulating paper tape, which is wrapped either overlappingly or with gaps. The paper-insulated multi-strand twisted wires specified in this part are suitable for use as leads in transformers or high-voltage electrical equipment. This part should be used in conjunction with GB/T 7673.1. The nominal cross-sectional area range of the cores applicable to this part is: (10~500)mm2.
