Scope

This document specifies the requirements and test methods for the geometric shape and fit, appearance, physical and chemical properties, materials, and environmental testing of teaching glass instruments, as well as inspection rules, marking, labeling, packaging, instruction manuals, storage, and transportation.
This document is applicable to glass instruments used in primary and secondary school laboratories. University laboratory glass instruments can be referenced for use.
This document is not applicable to electrical vacuum teaching instruments and optical teaching instruments made of glass.
