Scope

This part of YY/T 0809 specifies the test methods and performance requirements for the neck fatigue performance of stemmed femoral components in partial and total hip replacements under specific test conditions. This part does not include studies on the connection performance of the femoral head or head-neck. This part is applicable to modular and non-modular designs made of metal or non-metallic materials.
