Scope

This document specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, markings, labels, and accompanying documents, as well as packaging, transportation, and storage requirements for transformer calibrators. This document is applicable to the production, testing, and use of transformer calibrators that employ the differential comparison method to measure the errors of transformers or voltage dividers operating at an AC frequency of 50Hz (or 60Hz). This document is not applicable to DC transformer calibrators and electronic transformer calibrators.
