This standard specifies the classification and marking, dimensions, weight, and allowable deviations of rare earth zinc-aluminum alloy-coated steel wires used in steel-core aluminum strands, as well as the order content, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, storage, marking, and quality certificates. This standard is suitable for rare earth zinc-aluminum alloy-coated steel wires (hereinafter referred to as steel wires) used in steel-core aluminum strands for overhead power lines, with an aluminum content of 0.2% to 1.0%.
