Scope

This document applies to the tea-growing areas of Mengding Mountain, where tea leaves (including the buds and new shoots) of Camellia sinensis (Linnaeus) O.kuntze are used as raw materials. These tea leaves are processed according to the procedures specified in Section 10.2 of GH/T 1309, and the resulting tea products possess specific quality characteristics, making them regional famous teas, high-quality teas, and specialty teas.
