Scope
This standard specifies the requirements for crude cobalt hydroxide, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, transportation, storage, quality forecast sheets, and the contents of purchase orders (or contracts).
This standard applies to crude cobalt hydroxide obtained from the processing of minerals such as copper-cobalt and nickel-cobalt, which is used in the production of products such as cobalt chloride, cobalt sulfate, electrolytic cobalt, and cobalt tetroxide.
