Scope

This document specifies the ordering content, classification and code, structure and model, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking and packaging, transportation and storage of beam-type lifting gear.
This document is applicable to beam-type lifting gear used in lifting machinery (hereinafter referred to as lifting gear). Other beam-type lifting gear not specified in this document may also be implemented in accordance with it.
