Scope

This document specifies the manufacturing, testing, and inspection of pipe fittings for pipeline transportation systems designed according to GB 50251, GB 50253, and GB/T 24259, as well as technical requirements, marking, protection, packaging, and transportation.
This document applies to the manufacturing and inspection of butt-welded pipe fittings (such as elbows, pipe caps, tees, reducers, and transition pipes) made from carbon steel or low-alloy steel plates, seamless steel pipes, and welded steel pipes. The manufacturing and inspection of pipe fittings for pipeline systems designed according to other specifications may be used as a reference.
This document does not apply to the selection of welding materials or accessories in factories.
