Scope

This standard specifies the classification and designations, order content, dimensions, appearance, weight, and allowable deviations of stainless steel welded steel pipes for water supply; technical requirements; test methods; inspection rules; packaging; marking; and quality certificates. This standard applies to stainless steel welded steel pipes used for conveying domestic drinking water, purified drinking water, domestic hot water, and fire-fighting water; air conditioning circulating water; and air conditioning chilled water. Stainless steel welded steel pipes used for conveying other media can also be implemented in accordance with this standard.
