This standard specifies the technical requirements for the manufacture of marine metal propellers (hereinafter referred to as propellers) and the inspection methods, etc.
This standard is applicable to the manufacture of integral and assembled fixed-pitch propellers. The manufacture of blades for adjustable-pitch propellers can also be referenced and implemented accordingly.
