Scope
This procedure is applicable to the verification of α, β, and γ surface contamination measuring instruments and monitors used in the fields of radiation protection in new manufacturing, during use, and after repair. The maximum energy of β particles is greater than 0.15 MeV, and the energy range of X and γ emitters is 30 to 150 keV.
