Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, labeling, user manuals, and packaging, transportation, and storage of stainless steel vessels (hereinafter referred to as "vessels").
This standard applies to stainless steel vessels made from stainless steel plates or stainless steel composite plates that come into contact with food.
This standard does not apply to stainless steel pressure cookers, stainless steel kettles, stainless steel vacuum cups, and other vacuum insulation containers.
