Production environment: The production area of Eastern dragon fruit enjoys a tropical monsoon maritime climate, with an average annual temperature of 24°C to 25°C, a long warm season and a short cold season. The average annual sunshine duration is 2,628.1 hours, with a maximum daily sunshine duration of 9.5 hours, and an average annual rainfall of 1,150 mm. Eastern City is rich in water resources, with nine rivers including Changhe River, Nankai River, Ganen River, Tongtian River, Luodai River, Beili River, Nangang River, Nayao River, and Donghai River. The soil type in the production area is loam, with a pH value of 5 to 7 and high fertility. The production environment of Eastern dragon fruit meets the requirements of NY/T 5010. 5. Production methods 5.1 Variety selection: Select red-skinned white-flesh and red-skinned red-flesh varieties with high yield, strong self-pollination ability, and good marketability suitable for cultivation in Eastern City. 5.2 Cultivation management: Use cuttings for planting, which can be planted throughout the year, with March-April being the best time. For wall-mounted support systems, plant one stem per row or two stems per row, with a row spacing of 2.5 to 3 meters and a planting spacing of 20 to 30 centimeters.
