Scope

This standard specifies the method of analyzing particle size using the liquid-absorbing pipette method in a gravitational field. This standard is applicable to the measurement of the cumulative curve of particle size distribution of solid substances dispersed in liquids by the liquid-absorbing pipette method (in accordance with the provisions of DIN 66141), and the range of equivalent diameter of the settling speed of the liquid-absorbing pipette device used is 1 μm to 250 μm.
