Scope
This standard specifies the gas chromatography-mass spectrometry method for determining the content of 16 polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in fertilizers, including naphthalene, acenaphthene, acenaphthylene, fluorene, phenanthrene, anthracene, fluoranthene, pyrene, benz[a]anthracene, chrysene, benz[b]fluoranthene, benz[k]fluoranthene, benz[a]pyrene, dibenz[a,h]anthracene, benz[g,h,i]perylene, and indeno[1,2,3cd]pyrene. This standard is applicable to the determination of PAHs in products such as compound fertilizers, organic-inorganic compound fertilizers, slow-release fertilizers, and organic fertilizers, with a measurement range of 0.1 mg/kg to 30 mg/kg.
