Scope
This standard specifies the method for the gas chromatographic determination of trace hydrogen in gases.
This standard is applicable to the determination of trace hydrogen in gases such as nitrogen, argon, oxygen, air, krypton, xenon, and argon used in light bulbs, and is also applicable to fields such as medicine and power. The measurement range is 0.02 to 100 × 10-6 (volume fraction).
When the sample to be tested contains more than 200 × 10-6 (volume fraction) of neon or more than 1000 × 10-6 (volume fraction) of helium, it will interfere with the determination of hydrogen. In this case, the standard can only be applied after separating hydrogen from helium and neon.
