Scope

This standard specifies a general method for determining evaporation residue by weight method. This standard is applicable to the determination of evaporation residue of chemical reagents that can be volatilized and completely removed from the main body at the temperature of a boiling water bath. When determining evaporation residue according to this standard, the mass of residue obtained by calculating according to the sampling quantity and specification value shall not be less than 1 mg.
