Scope

This document specifies the operating conditions, selection principles, technical requirements, test methods, inspection, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage requirements for active intervention arc-extinguishing devices (hereinafter referred to as the device). This document is applicable to active intervention arc-extinguishing devices in AC systems with a nominal voltage of 10 kV and a rated frequency of 50 Hz. Other voltage levels can be implemented as a reference.
