Scope

This standard applies to inert gas systems installed on oil tankers used to transport oil products with a flash point of less than 60°C (closed cup), which use gases such as boiler flue gas, exhaust gas from the main engine's afterburning device, and inert gas produced by nitrogen generators as the gas source.
