GB/T 13165-2010 Methods of measurement on noise emitted by arc welding machine
Basic Information
Scope
This standard specifies a simple method for determining the A-weighted sound power level of a sound source, which involves measuring the A-weighted sound level of the sound source at specified measurement points and then calculating the A-weighted sound power level. This method is particularly suitable for on-site measurements and does not require the sound source to be moved into a special acoustic environment.
This standard applies to broadband, narrowband, and discrete frequency steady-state noise radiated by various types of general arc welding machines (hereinafter referred to as sound sources). It is also applicable to non-steady state noise sources, except for burst sounds with a repetition rate of less than 5 per second. There are no restrictions on the volume of the sound source being measured. For extremely large sound sources, the main noise source should be selected for measurement.
For noise measurement of other types of welding equipment, this standard can be used as a reference for implementation.
