Scope

This document specifies the terms and definitions, classification and grade designation methods, order content, dimensions, shape, weight, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates for high-strength hot-rolled steel plates and steel strips for automotive use. This document applies to hot-rolled steel strips with a thickness of no more than 6.0 mm that have high expansion performance, as well as the steel plates cut transversely from these strips and the longitudinally cut steel strips (hereinafter referred to as "steel plates and steel strips").
