Scope
This standard applies to the monitoring of water and air pollutants, noise, and the impact on the surrounding environment during the production and operation phases of discharge units in the steel industry and coking chemical industry. This standard does not apply to the self-monitoring of iron ore mining and selection, and ferroalloy production processes in steel production enterprises. The self-monitoring requirements for self-owned thermal power generators (plants) and supporting power boilers in the steel industry and coking chemical industry shall be implemented in accordance with HJ820.
