Scope
This document specifies the terms and definitions, method overview, testing instruments and equipment, coal samples and sample preparation process, water loss test steps, correction methods, and test reports for the water loss test of coal samples during mechanical sampling and preparation. This document is applicable to the quality assessment and quality management of coal mechanical sampling equipment. However, if the full moisture coal samples are not taken using mechanical sampling equipment, the water loss correction cannot be performed.
