Scope

This standard specifies the method for determining the content of nitroimidazole drugs in feed by liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry. This standard is applicable to the determination of metronidazole, losartan, dimetridazole, and tinidazole in compound feed, concentrated feed, and premixed feed. The detection limit of this standard for metronidazole, losartan, dimetridazole, and tinidazole in feed is 8 μg/kg. The quantification limit of this standard for metronidazole, losartan, dimetridazole, and tinidazole in feed is 25 μg/kg.
