Scope

This document specifies the terms and definitions of blast furnace hot air valves, their models, basic types and parameters, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking and packaging, storage and transportation, installation and use requirements. This document is applicable to blast furnace hot air valves with a system working pressure not exceeding 0.6 MPa, a working temperature not exceeding 1,450°C, and a nominal diameter of DN 500 to DN 2,200.
