Scope

This standard specifies the method of designating grades of hot-rolled steel plates and strips for cold-bent steel, the content of orders, dimensions, shapes, weights, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates. This standard applies to hot-rolled steel strips for cold-bent steel with a thickness of not more than 25.4 mm and steel plates cut transversely from steel strips (hereinafter referred to as steel plates and strips).
