Scope

This standard specifies the test method and evaluation indicators for determining the pilling performance of fabrics using the tack hammer method. This standard is applicable to knitted fabrics, woven fabrics, and other fabrics prone to pilling, particularly suitable for chemical fiber filament and its modified yarn fabrics. This standard is not applicable to fabrics with mesh structures, nonwoven fabrics, and tufted fabrics.
